The band announce new double A side single, ‘Midnight Control / Forming of a Fate’. Out 16th September on Warner ADA. The single was recorded at Parr Street Studios, Liverpool with Producer Bill Ryder-Jones, mixed by Darren Lawson (Spiritualized / White Lies) and mastered by John Davis (Led Zeppelin / Fka Twigs / Foals) at Metropolis.
"After the chaos that was the Sheffield 'comeback' shows, it was important to us that we released some new material if we were going to stick around. Midnight Control is an accidental pop song. We tried to encapsulate where we were musically and lyrically. Forming of a Fate is a straight up romper stomper, an old school Milburn tune. We can't wait to play it live. Having Bill (Ryder-Jones) at the helm was crucial to the recording process; whilst he was always there to give his opinion (and ask for help on the crossword), he didn't over produce and let a lot of the sounds take care of themselves." - Joe Carnall
The band are happy to announce that they will be supporting The Courteeners on Friday November 18th at Liverpool Arena and Friday 25th November at Leeds Arena.
The band are happy to announce they will play PJ Molloy's in Dunfermline on Friday 7th & Glasgow Tenement Trail Festival on Saturday 8th October.
